Aircraft Instrument Panel - various bits and pieces

Invariably, there's quite a bit more to an aircraft instrument panel than would fit into the "attitude", "Nav&Com" and "Engine & Electrics monitoring" sections.
That's why this page was created, where those other bits and pieces in an airplane instrument panel find a place to be described and pictured.

GT-50 Flight timer

I'll start off with a short description of a multi purpose flight timer. A recent acquisition for my IBIS instrument panel is this very compact GT-50 flight timer.
It's an instrument that fits into a standard 57mm instrument panel hole. You won't have to sacrifice any payload for it, as it weighs a mere 66 grams (bare instrument, less four mounting screws & wiring loom).
The GT-50 doesn't just serve as a flight timer, as it has more integrated functions:
